BIOS IT to showcase rapidly broadening HPC portfolio at SC19
November 14, 2019, London. BIOS IT, a global HPC design and integration house will showcase its rapidly growing range of HPC solutions and services, covering compute, storage, interconnect and Cloud at SC19.
Solutions on show include the Supermicro BigTwinTM, a 2U multi-node system supporting the latest AMD EPYC™ 7002 generation processors, boasting the best memory bandwidth on the market and deliver agility and increased compute density from a balanced set of attributes.
Latest generation Intel-powered solutions on show include vScaler – a cost-effective private cloud appliance designed to scale for any workload. vScaler’s finely tuned software enables users to deploy HPC clusters of any scale and its HPC-on-Demand capabilities provide a compelling solution for many challenges of delivering flexible infrastructure for research computing.
As well as x86 based solutions, BIOS IT can also offer customers the IBM Power9 range of solutions, including the AC922 system which can support Enterprise AI initiatives throughout their lifecycle. The world’s only server enabling NVIDIA NVLink between CPUs and GPUs, the Power AC922 delivers faster AI insights and is capable of meeting an enterprise’s loftiest aspirations.
New to BIOS IT’s portfolio is the GigaIO FabreXTM Switch, a fundamental building block of the FabreX network for true Software Defined Infrastructure (SDI) and the backbone of BIOS IT’s Composable HPC platform offering. The GigaIO switch offers a hyper-performance network that enables a unified, software-driven composable infrastructure, enabling dynamic provisioning of resources to meet the demands of changing workloads.
Looking beyond hardware, BIOS IT’s adds value for HPC customers with ongoing services and support. Services include design and consultancy to help you best plan for your future requirements as well as set up services such as integration, configuration, migration and training and long term fully managed services. Offering onsite or remote access to the latest technology, via it’s Labs facility, BIOS IT can support and advise customers throughout their whole project lifecycle.
The team from BIOS IT will demonstrate their proficiency in providing these HPC solutions and services for a broad range of workloads, including genomics, health care, molecular physics, computer science, scientific research, universities, finance and banking on booth #513 at Supercomputing 2019 in Denver.
